You weren't alone about working, I did to. Except I have no little one's around. Put in this year for next year time off. If I had Children or Grand Children, I would be watching. But we should feel blessed, we do all have job's.
You could tel when it was over, about 100 people marched into True value! The wife said that that there were about 70 people packed into Simonsons right before it started. Seems like I have to work every band Day. Its a tradition for us, seems like thats all we ever do.

If I had to judge by the faces of my grandkids and the little girl dancing and marching in place by us, band day was a blast. Pockets and bags were full of candy, frisbees, footballs, drinks, pencils, cotton candy and flyers handed out by those in the parade. Jumping castles set up in the park, vendors and the MINI DONUTS. My youngest grandson got his first taste of those. Smiles were had by all. Nap time went well also. As for places to stay, I don't know. But the crowd of children were happy. It looked great from where I stood.

How was band day anyway? Missed everything. Did we have more bands this year or less due to Rooms in Williston? Just curious. Hope the little ones enjoyed.
