The horse sale was going good when I got there. The beautiful babies all went to good homes and people paid a good price for them. Then it happened. A 2 year old stud came in and the men in the area made a mistake and the horse leap a 6 or 7 foot fence. My husband got kicked, men behind me pulled me out of the way and a elderly man got hurt. That horse did survive and someone was kind enough to buy him - heal him - and work with him. Another horse apparently died in a trailor from stress. And another escape for a bit. We left before it was done. After Rik got kicked, he decided he had all the fun he wanted. Pictures in the Dickinson Paper. It explains it all.
It looks like the roads will be clear tomorrow. Most likely leave by noon. Stacyslap did your daughter get to look at the horse's and babies? I hate auctions, I never know what they're saying and what price I am at. Oh Well ought to be interesting.

Is there anywhere online to see the sale bill? My daughter would love to pick a horse for you to bid on. That would be awesome if you could save a horse from the cannery. I hope you get to do it.
