Jibslider. A question. Have you ever been in a End of Life Conference? I Have. Do you know the emotion's that go into this? My Father and my Mother died within 6 week's apart. It's not Liberal and it's not Concervative. It is JUST plain common sence - I just CHOOSE to do it before my son had to be there to see it. He no longer has to deal with it. And excuse my spelling.

The thing of it is in my life, I already have a living will and already have in my will my END OF LIFE decision's - I do not need the Government to help me along with this one.
I read some of the articles of this bill and could NOT BELIEVE what I was actually reading. It totally frickin' scared me. No one can sue the government if there's mal-practice. And the free choices stuff? Whatever. How bout all doctors making the same amount of money regardless of specialties? Wha? Good luck getting a doc to specialize. There's no freaking way this bill should pass AT ALL. If you don't have adequate insurance you get taxed 2.5 percent of your salary. Again, the goverment forcing people to do something.
Part of me really is disturbed by this, but then the other part of me thinks once this country realizes the government take-over that's happening this admin will eventually be over-thrown or there will be an all out "not-so-civil" war.

End of Life Conferences. They want this in the Health Care Reform. This say's after a certain age or illness you have to have conferences with doctor's to decide how you want to be treated, if your worth treating, if you life is worth living and how much will you cost the system. I feel if this was in play now Senator Kennedy would be dead by now as he is not worth paying with our tax dollar's as he is still pretty ill. He is not doing his job for the people. Now who decides if your worth living and what your worth is. If this is in this bill, even a little part of it - it will open a can of worms that would only snowball. As any bill they pass. They get a foot in any part of our lives and all hell breaks loose. If Senator's and Congress want a Health Reform Bill, they must be on the exact same plan, so there is not a set of rules for Washington DC and another set for the rest of us. That way it would make sure the Congress and Senate would actually read what they vote on, as it would affect their lives and their families lives. Now Health Care needs to be worked on, but not this way and not what they are proposing. Most of the Town Hall Meeting's I have watch, most question's have not been answered. This bill is so complex - the people having the meetings can not even explain it.
Should this even be in a White House - New Reform Bill - on our health care. Who Choose's - I will not be a part of this... UNLESS the White House will be on the same. Senator Kennedy would be gone, I do believe.. This Health Care is JUST Wrong. There has to be a better way to fix Health Care, But the President - Congress - Senator's HAVE to be on the same - to protect the People of the US. They then would actually read the plan and be a little more carefull.
