I am going to go back to the original post for this topic...the ER!

First of all... MO2 be ever so thankful that your father in law is in Bismarck and I will keep him in my prayers.

I made a post earlier this year about the emergency room..(you can go back and look if you like) I am happy that others have had good experiences here with the ER.  Unfortunately My family has not!  There is one particular Dr involved in these not-so-good experiences we have had....I on the other hand have been back to the ER handfuls of other times with my sister-in-law....and we have had good experiences.....especially with the new PA...SHE is absolutely great!  BUT......the times we have been there with her kids were not times where these children were as ill as her mother.  I can only hope and pray that Mercy continues to send extremely ill people elsewhere!

First, I need to appoligize to MO2... I jumped the gun yet again and I am truly sorry.  And ND...my heart is breaking.  I think I knew your precious son and he was great!  He really was special and made everyone smile!   And your right about what Vicki said.  As soon as a woman finds out she is having a baby, that baby has life.  And its so easy now days to snuff that life out in an hours doctors visit.  I don't think you will ever change the minds of some people on this issue.  Some women use Abortion as a means of birth control, and others dont to  use  it as an excuse to get goverment checks.  Sad, but true.  And what I really don't understand is these people who are worried about the women who are pregnant if abortion is outlawed.  You hear stories of back room abortions and such...and how the woman suffers...are you kidding me!  This whole issue bounces back to being a responsable person for your own life.  Sex has consequences.

ND I am also very sorry.  I too lost a child before birth - not even putting myself close to your experience .  My heart breaks for you.  God bless you and MO2 - Horrible hardships at times brings us all together.  And sometimes that is why we find ourselves here.

Oh ND.  That absolutely breaks my heart.  I'm so so sorry.  I too have always believed.  My faith had wandered near and far until that day God gave me my first child.  Ever since I have been counting my many, many blessings.  I often ask what I have ever done to deserve the family I have been given.

My prayer today is that though God carries the full weight of your heavy heart, those that read this will share the burden of your pain and sorrow and that the good Lord will bring peace and comfort to you and your family.

God Bless you ND.

I have never had any horrible experiences in the ER - It seemed I was living there when Mom and Dad were alive.  At times it got pretty crazy but everyone was always willing to answer my questions.  Thoughts and Prayers for your Father In Law and the rest of your Family.  Sometimes it is harder on the bystanders than the person going through it.

Wait....you want us to pray for your father-in-law yet, you wont pray for him yourself?   Because your "not the Praying" type.  Are you for real?   If not then what do you hope or stand for?   Don't ask me to do something that your NOT willing to do youself!  Sheesh!!  God Bless your Father-in-Law!!

No...thats not it at all.  I'm not from a religous family and just said I'm not much a prayer because I basically know nothing about it. Its times like these that maybe I should though.       I'm sorry you took that the wrong way though.   This is one subject I won't argue about.cry

I just thought I needed to post this :)

I have heard (i'll be honest.....i've even said it myself) that our emergency room is terrible here.   I just wanted to share my story today...

My father-in-law had to be taken via ambulance to the ER today and I was HIGHLY impressed!  We had the nicest nurse in history!  I think her name was Sheila.  She was friendly, polite and any other nice words you can think of.  They got him into X-ray quickly and unfortunatly got him in the ambulance quickly to take him to Bismarck.  I've also, personally, said many bad things about Dr. Bolter.  He was the doctor in charge of my father-in-law and was very pleasant.     The most thank yous go out to Sheila, she did a wonderful job!

I'm not much a prayer...and I would appreciate any prayers for my father-in-law...he's in surgery in bismarck as we speak.
