This whole issue effects us all. I think this woman watched too many episodes of Jon and Kate plus 8, and 17 kids and counting! And its not just them. To implant more than 3 embryo's is very unethical. Im not against invetro, I am how ever opposed to enserting 8 of them at one time, and to a single mother on welfare who has bankruped her own parents! As if 6 children isnt enough!! Exactly what job does she have to support these now 14 children!? NOTHING! Because now we have to pay!! Do you realize it will cause 2 million to keep each of those babies alive and well while in the hospital! How many more millions when they go home? Not to mention the 6 children she already has! People are losing their homes, living in cars and we're now on top of the stupid bailouts have to support a crazy woman!!! Nobody is entitled to a good life or riches!!! Those that work hard are the ones who pay the most to those who feel entitled!!! Beam me up Scotty....cause this planet SUCKS!!

Let's just say it has something to do with technology. It has letters like R and F and I and D. This technology would have an on and an off switch. But I'm working on patenting this so don't tell anyone else. Kidding on the patent of course.

Who are you to judge that? You're a tax paying citizen. To be honest, you have to see the story before you can make a judgement on this.
The truth of this matter is that this woman wanted publicity and a million dollar handout like others who've had octuplets. She hired a publicist right after she had the kids.
Let me break this down for you. This 33 year old woman already had 6 kids and was living with her mom. Her mom is broke, bankrupt, 1 million dollars in the hole. Presumably because she had been trying to support her 33 year old daughter and 6 grandchildren. So now those entities that will not be able to collect that 1 million dollars will have to write it off which will in turn affect your taxes.
Ok, so now we realize this lady WAS receiving government benies to take care of the existing 6 kids. Your tax money at work.
So now this lady has invetro procedure....WHAT!?!? WTH did she get the money to pay for that? Regardless, hospital procedure to bring 8 newbies into the world via c-section has to be paid by someone....you got it....your tax money.
Bottom line...it's going to cost someone 1.5 million dollars to pay for these 8 kids (not including the other 6) to live the next 17 years. And I'll tell ya, there are no media deals being offered like she had hoped to this point.
Problem is...this isn't the only case of children born into homes that can't afford to pay for them. Unfortunately it's quite common. VKO is one of many who just don't want to be the ones to flip the bill for irresponsible adults. Thus the reason for starting this thread.

ps...I have ideas on how the government can regulate having kids until a person has proven they can afford them and have proven to be prominant members of society.

Also she and her doctor broke the law and ethics. Embryo Transplant only allows 3 at the very most. (per the doctors that have spoke out about this.) She had 8 transplanted. Her parents only have a 3 bedroom home. Went bankrupt a year or two ago. It's not much of a leap to figure out that she will most likely end up on assistance. Especially since the Huggies - baby clothing people etc have all shund her to this point. Even her own mother is not too happy about this.

Autistic has nothing to do with families. She choose to have 8 eggs implanted without being married. Living with her parents with 6 other children. Isn't this taking a little something from the other children under the age of 8. And I think having a child especially autistic needs a little bit more attention. She wanted the attention no more or less. And we all get to help with our taxes to help.
