I agree! Did you know that California is sending out IOU to the tax payers! UNREAL!!!! Boy of boy if that was us that couldnt pay no IOU would cut it!! They would take our homes or what have you and on top of it charge intrest!! And to top it off,....did you hear that Hollywood film industry is now asking for a bail out!!! What is happening in this country!!? I feel like I'm losing my mind!!
VKO...surely you jest. We all know, because they told us so, it was an innocent oversight, and they have paid their taxes and penalties and interest in full, like the good little citizens they are.
When I could not pay my full tax amount (years ago) - I wrote and called the IRS and explained and asked for a little more time. They said to me do you have any pets - maybe you should get rid of them first. I said it's a little tiny Shih Tzu. And he eats mostly leftovers. Should I send you the leftovers? Anyway it seems to me that the IRS is harder on the people who owe 500.00 instead of the Elected Officials that cheat and owe 100,000.00 or more.
