Hey, not a problem at all, i enjoyed it!! Halloween is my favorite holiday, so its my pleasure to do something like this.
I tried to talk some of my friends in doing it too, but most had plans or didnt seem to want to help out. My wife would have but she has to work. I wish my kids could have been here to help out, they would have enjoyed it too.
I had a few things I should have brought last night, I made a low lying fogger out of an old ice cooler I had and a few strobe lights, The cooler really keeps the fog low to the ground, and Ill probably bring one of the strobe lights tonight for the other end of the hall.

And SKM, there is someone there to guide you through it, so you dont have to be alone. Its not really all that bad, really, you should come..Its only 3.00 and kids under 12 are free.

Impossible to tell.  Some kids do not think it is scary at all.  So kids cry and refuse to go any further.  Lonewolf is correct it is a fun event to volunteer at.

P.S.

Other then WPR Employees, their families, their friends, and the WSC Baseball team, Lone Wolf is the only volunteer that helped on Wednesday Night.  THANK YOU LONE WOLF.

You deserve a "pat on the back" too for putting together a nice tackle football program for our kids to participate in.  Thank you very much.

Thank you to all of the volunteers for tackle and flag football this year.  Many people donated a lot of time to make this program successful and I and all the boys and the three girls in this program all apreaciate it.  Thank You, all of you made a difference in the youth of Williston.

P.S.  We are still looking for voluteers for the Haunted House, it is a lot of fun.  I thnik the volunteers have more fun then the participants.

I did not post on the herold, i will do so.

My comment refered to this site specifically.

We need help for all.  Traditionally the all city halloween party has been the easiest to fill.  The haunted house we need about 25 people.  All of the recreation staff help...

Jeremy (plus Laura, Mason, and Courtney)
Jessica
Nick
Darin ( Plus Amy)
LeeAnne
Cathy

Parks Staff has helped in the past
Sherm, Cote, etc

But we still need about 20 more

New Years Eve is still a little early, but i just wanted to plant the seed

Im not understanding your comment, Jerermy.  Are you saying you have had only one volunteer sign up?  Because if that really is the case please say something more.  In which event do you need help the most?  Thank you. smile

Oh and have you tried the Guest book on the Hearld?  Alot of people read that as well as this site.  But it's another Free outlet to ask for help.  It maybe a, duhhhh, question but I havent seen a post on the sight from you.  (if you did, I missed it, My bad. ) smile

Williston Parks and Rec, as well as many other groups, is in need of volunteers.

WPR has a couple of event coming up that are a lot of fun to volunteer at.

October 29 and 30 - Haunted House
We will need a total of 20 volunteers each night.    A couple hours each night.  Over 18  years old is perfered.  It is a lot of fun,  get dressed up and scare the crap out of kids and adults.

October 31 - All City Halloween Party
Parks and Recreation has worked with the Williston Police Department for 28 years to provide this fun and safe event for kids.  This is a free event for all kids 6th grade and under.

December 30 and 31 - New Years Eve Extravaganza
This is the third year for this event.  WPR raises $1000's of dollars to give away prizes and put on a party for kids in grade 7 to 12.

Alll of these events are fun and make a difference in our community.  For all of you people out there that want to make Williston a better place no is your chance.  I CHALLENGE YOU TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE YOUTH OF WILLISTON!!!
