When do you know if they just fell over and fainted or just fell over and bit it. Saw a clip last nite on tv about them. Funny.. I just would like them to eat my weeds between my trees. And when no more weeds they just eat the trees..no win situation for me. Unless the owner would just let me use them for a little while.
Thanks Steve for the info! Maybe I will get one! I have never eaten (as I type this word....is it a word?) goat........nor do I want to.....but going into my back yard and yelling "boo" and watching them faint would be real funny! LOL
For those who want to own goats the reasons they like the "fainting" goat is because they are less prone to climbing or trying to escape, they are more muscular thus better eating, and have larger litters. Plus, they're funning as heck when they faint.
OK...so I don't REALLY just know this information. I looked it up. But I've also wondered why an animal would just faint all-of-the-sudden like they do.
So to summaruze, fainting goats breed faster, taste better, and are a good laugh when needed.
