I do too. I don't know what happened between high school and now, but I can't stand filth or clutter. My goal in our new house is to NEVER have it look like it's been lived in. I'm up to the challenge, even with a little man teetering on the brink of toddlerhood. smile

But Gaylen, that didn't stop the Ravens from winning their Superbowl.  Unless you think Dilfer was top 20 qb quality.  Do you?

It's a matter of "Striking when the irons hot." For the vikings, the iron doesn't get any hotter. The only thing that will keep them from getting to the big dance is the weakness at QB. This young, inexperienced QB is a under extreme pressure to get them somewhere this season. When it doesn't happen. It'll be, "We need a better QB."  That's all I'm saying. Hate to see a young talented teams ability to go far be squandered because of 1 player. (The most important one at that.) Yea Favre is washed up all right...Did you watch football last season? He still has plenty of fire in his belly.

LMFAOOOOOOOOO you boys!!!  YOU love Farve, but never forget that hes only as good as the recievers.   They've tried to blitz him over and over, no dice thanks to the blockers.   Its a team effort, NOT just FARVE.  And on a personal note, don't think Farve would make it in the dome!! Tooooooo LOUD in the dome!!  biggrin   (although, he may get used to itweirdface)

And I forgot to mention his pass completion percentage his last couple of games was right around..........70 percent.  Growing pains...no different than Manning.

Ummm...How many full years had TJack played up until last year?  NONE.  And what was TJack's record at the end of the year?  8-4   Winning record...first year starter.  So now he has a year under his belt...he has receivers that shouldn't be dropping the ball ala Troy Williamson.  He has a ground and pound offense to keep him from making too many mistakes.  He has a pass rushing AND run stuffing defense.

Oh, and this team is looking a heck of a lot like the 2000 Ravens.  They had a decent year that year.....with.....DILFER.  Sorry, I don't think we need Far vuh.

The Vikes are finally on the right track with some younger players and a few young proven hall of fame contenders, the last thing we need is for Minnesota to take a step back to the days of "Hey, let's sign a washed up QB who can lead the team instead of developing the young talent."

Might as well bring back Warren Moon, or God forbid Jeff George.

Right. He has 1 under his belt. How many do the Vikes have as a team? Don't you think the light at the end of the tunnel is a bit brighter with Fav-re at the healm than Jackson? The Vikes have a dangerous team, but NO QB. Jackson isn't a star...prolly never will be. Favre still has some game in him and still has that drive to win. Sometimes that drive is what gets him in trouble though. Still...the grass is (ahem.) greener? in Minnesota with Favre as the QB. They need somebody...

BTW. I am no way a Vikes fan. I can't root for a fotball team that wears purple. I just think that this whole thing would be hilarious if Favre ends up in MN. Besides. John Madden will probably keal over if there's no Brett Favre to talk about. No one wants that.

G, go look up Favre's record in domes.  Also, 1 superbowl does not mean he can lead the Vikings to the holy land.  He's had plenty o' opportunities with great teams and what did he go and do?  Cough, cough, choke choke.

I will abolutely LMAO if he winds up in a pretty purple uniform. That would be great. Sports talk radio has said that if he does go to Vikes, they'll be an "Instant Super bowl contender." You gotta like that, right Steve?Right??? "INSTANT Contender." Jackson isn't going to get them anywhere. They will have a better chance of going somewhere with Favre than Jackson. Why is it so bad if he does play for the Vikes? Sharper is an ex-Packer. What the hell?
