I like a lot of your feedback below,

I do think however that any leader with a Brain should be able to recognize Empire Decline, that is what we are dealing with a big part here, over reaching...

if we had just cut bases over seas and a big part of our Millitary industrial complex 10 years ago, we'd not be in this mess...

don't get me wrong, I'd love to have our borders protected, but we don't, we have troops all over the globe but we are losing Arizona to Mexicans...

I'm just very thankful my family is where it is today,

I could be stuck in Denver right now having 250,000 mortgage, on a house that is only worth 150,000 and probably jobless....

Pretty much since I have run into so many homeless  people.  And Williston has been totally overwhelmed by  people that speak other languages.   My, husband is Greek, His mother had to teach her sibling's in a closet,  how to speak English. So they could go to school in Williston.  Because, her Father would not allow English in their Williston Home.  I am in total awe what these people do to make a life here.  I hate to see people sit in hallway's  for any reason, it insulted me, as a Williston Person.   I have alway's felt Williston had open heart's.  But I looked at the People working, and they are exhausted.  And there you have it.

I'm still confused as to why you felt the need to mention folks of various nationalities that speak many different languages.

Jib and PS the reason I mentioned Drug's was because I had a lung exray.   I was in an area that the companies send people in for their Pee test's  - Unreal.   It was packed to the gill's.   Today was a different area -  Unreal.  It happened - it is here - and overwhelming.   I too have been to alot of countries.  I just didn't didn't know they were coming in here, in all this snow and now  no place to live.  It is just heart breaking for me to see their struggle and their courage.  And it is damn cold outside.

Well, since I do pay my very own insurance, and do not run into the clinic for every little ouch, now I am of the the age that I have to have test's,  I really do not want to do.  Now saying that,  Williston clinic was full and a lot of people were sitting on the floor and hallway's today that shocked me.  They had people there to help them through the  process.  I was shocked by the amount of people and Williston is not prepared.  It is about the the Hospital - Clinic's and Doctor's - and the people that come here for a paycheck.  And they are worried and so is Williston,   it is heartbreaking.........So Jib  tell us Williston People what to do since we are not worldly. You do have the answer's, don't you?  And Jib either quote my whole post or please do not.  Do NOT pick and choose.   Thank You.

Whoawhoawhoa... what's wrong with "people of every nationality" speaking in different languages being at the clinic?

I deal with this every day, and sure it is inconvenient since I do not know a whole bunch of languages, but what's the big deal? Everybody needs medical care, not just English speaking folks.

I know many Willistonites where English is not their first language, and the English they speak is broken, and with a "foreign" accent. My grandparents come to mind first.

Once again, what's the big deal?

I understand what you are saying Steve, but, in our state and every other state, Union's - P.C. - Politician's - and every person who know's how to use the system, for their own cause is adding to all the problems.  Welfare, for people who have baby after baby.  That they will not take care of.  Drug's - my god I went to the clinic in Williston today, it was a ZOO.  People of every nationality (sp) was there speaking in different languages. The Nurses at the clinic said it was an every day event anymore.  It was very interesting to see that, but , Williston is bursting at it seam's, and not a one of us were prepared for this.  I hope I don't have an emergency any time soon.  How long will it take for people to drag us down with them?  Because of course we are still in the ahead of the game for the moment.  They, the people, and the other state's want our money.

Isn't it interesting that Bin Laden predicted the fall of our country?  Somehow he knew that setting us off, by attacking us on our land, he would start a chain reaction of spending that would start us into a tail spin that we would not be able to stop? 

I've done a ton of reading on this stuff.  Things were pretty good up until that happened.  We've had our share of tough financial times in this country but we've always been able to right the ship.  What we as a country failed to do was take notes on the fall of the USSR.  Guess who helped cause that problem?  America certainly had their hand in it.  But one other individual that we trained to fight them via guerilla warfare also played a key role.  Bin Laden. 

Now he's done the same thing to us.  Rather than seal our borders and take care of our own business, he's forced us to spend money fighting the bad guys on their turf costing us trillions.  He has created an ever growing split between political parties that could very well one day lead us into another civil conflict.

I'm not saying I don't support keeping the war over there, but I certainly don't support overspending to do it.  We've made ourselves more succeptible as a result. 

Today, we find ourselves in the worst financial shape we've ever been in.  We are by far more partisan than ever.  Our borders are leaking like Niagiara falls.  And we continue to throw bad money after bad. 

My final thoughts are this.  Let's make North Dakota into a new country by itself and take care of our own business.  We'd be one of the richest countries in the world.  We have plenty of military might and nuclear weapons and all the agriculture we'll ever need.  We have enough power from oil to last us many, many years.  And with all of the ag and oil we have for trade, we'd easily be able to make friends with others that want to come on board.  (We'd need to bring the southern half of Minnesota with us since they have the Mayo Clinic) smile.gif

I would elect Clarke for President. biggrin  That should keep us as friends with our good neighbors to the north. biggrin
