I care very little if they call him the first black pres, he's half white anyways so that's not even true.  I do however care that he protects and respects our constitution which he's sworn to do,"on the bible" and also protect our personal liberties guaranteed by that document.

Why don't I try a whole new venue. The ND Pension Fund.  How about reading a couple articles on it and getting some opinions on this. We can form a bit more discussion on it. Maybe something a bit more productive. The problem with $4 billion is a good start.

Which says that there is no real evidence for this claim, but we should "throw the imposter out" anyways.

I think, however, that Ms. Evans was directing me to the last paragraph on the factcheck.org site. Here we have an article, the bulk of which praises snopes.com for its fairness and accuracy with warning at the end that amounts to a disclaimer never to trust one site implicitly. That’s find, which is why I posted multiple articles in addition to the one from snopes.com. So to say I relied solely on that site is inaccurate. I also included a USA Today article, an article from Slate magazine, and an article from factcheck.org (though I will admit that I used the same factcheck.org site twice in error.) Such a disclaimer is also a convenient way for factcheck.org to protect their own integrity, as they said that even posts on their own site are not 100% free from error. Such a disclaimer is prudent given the nature of their site and the nebulous interaction between belief and truth.

I posit that further investigation into the birther myth is about as fruitful as going to Scotland to ask the Loch Ness Monster on a date. I do not see anything worth investigating, as the evidence towards a legitimate birth in Hawaii far outweighs any evidence to the contrary. I suppose I must insert my own disclaimer saying that I feel a person can believe what they wish. This is still America, after all. But that does not mean I have to agree, nor does it mean I have to give fair time to a theory I find preposterous. Conversely, anyone is free to ignore my thoughts on the matter as they see fit.

I got this. There is a recording that has a man who seems to verify, Obama was not born in Hawaii. The records office is aware of this. I will post it and let you all decide the content for yourselves.
