Gerald Celente "number 1 trends forecaster in the WORLD"!!! ;) has been forecasting that the U.S.A. will fracture at some point and states will step out of the union on there own, similar to the ussr when it collapsed.

when the first bailouts were forced, quite a few states started declaring their 10th amendment rights I could find the link, I believe there were at least 15 states ND eventually jumped in as well. There has been a lawsuit as well by some states against the federal gov, since the health care take over bull...

Do any of you think state governments could end up leading the charge in a coup? What happens if Arizona does say take your empire and shove it? What happens of North Dakota says the same? We're not talking about Tea Partiers anymore, we're talking local governments.
Polarity is there, anger is there.
My comment, maybe not the war type, means I can see something coming as these people are saying, but perhaps I don't see it quite as far as they do. At least I didn't dismiss the whole thing as crazy.

but i think we all can agree the federal power has long since over-run any form of respect for "we the people"
No, don't include me in any generalized "I think we can all agree" statements. The debate as a whole amounts to intellectual bankruptcy, in my opinion. I guess I'll be one of those guys on the wrong side of the line when the fighting starts. But then, I'm pretty sure that won't happen, so I'm not terribly concerned.
i agree with you on the states flexing their rights,
I think we are going to see a few step away at some point, and if the federal government gives Arizona some serious grief over the steps it's taking to try and protect its citizens I would hope they would be the first to say take your bankrupt empire and shove it! ;)
George Washington was considered a terrorist by the brits and most of europe, not sure he'd want the E.U. here but sadly I think that's where we are headed. Global government, and not sure we can have any say in it peaceful or otherwise.
but i think we all can agree the federal power has long since over-run any form of respect for "we the people"
p.s.
sometimes when things are so far gone, you need a little shock in the other direction to hopefully bring peoples paradigm back to the middle somewhere,
but at some point, yes, everyone will have to say How far is to far? at some point tyranny does provoke that question to everyone underneath it. die on your feet or on your knees?
where is that line? if you ask yourself after it's crossed it's way to late to do anything about it...

Sigma, you don't honestly believe we could see some serious uprising happening? I've watched Southern Reverends that have preached on this very topic.
This country has had a revolution before...don't think it can't happen again. Perhaps not so much of the war type, but we could certainly see something happen considering the polarity we see today.
“Perhaps not the war type?”What kind of uprising do you think this type of movie it talking about, strongly worded letters? When they ask “what side of the line will you be on” are they referring to football? This is very charged rhetoric they are slinging around, and the only rational interpretation is that they are promoting an armed uprising.Perhaps those who put out material like this view themselves as modern-day Thomas Paine speaking about Common Sense. But Thomas Paine has a more clearer sense of why independence from British rule was necessary.I’ve not seen a single argument from any would-be revolutionary that makes me believe that in a patriotic duty to rise up in arms against the government.
A political revolution is more palatable. Our system of government is not so badly broken that violently overthrowing the government should be an option.I believe in overthrowing the two-party system, George Washington would have agreed in favor of a more European party system.I’d love to see a continued expansion of state power and the limitation of Federal power. And I would be tickled to see term limits applied to Congress, ideally, one term each, maybe two.A revolution within the system is what is needed.Words, not guns.I don’t think the Founding Fathers were warmongers. They saw what war was like, and I find it hard to think they were eager for more. That is one of the reasons they created a system that could overthrow itself in a legal, bloodless fashion.
I don’t care of some people have lost faith in the system.I still believe it works, and that’s what makes me a patriot. As for talking about taking up arms against the government…I think the Constitution addresses treason as well.
come on now, if you want to give me your summary after watching it I'll glady respond to that. Name calling is a common response of people who want to dismiss something out of hand without looking into it.
http://www.campfema.com/ was Gary Franchi's first work I believe and that was pretty good, covered a lot of Rex 1984 and the governments plan for us peasants in that regard.
Gary Franchi from what I know really tried to pickup where Aaron Russo left off when he passed on, he started restore the republic. It's small but independent news, something Faux news, NBC, CBS ABC cant' claim as they are all owned by members of the council on foreign relations. Whose stated goal is global government...
check it out if you want, if not change the subject, I enjoy blabbering about the NFL as well ;)

Perhaps, but Michael Moore's stuff isn't free! And at least it's well produced insanity. I'll watching something nuts if it's well done. Guess I"m a sheeple that way.
No crazier than Michael Moore. In reality, we never really know what crazy is until we open our minds to other people's craziness. Hey! Can we put that down as a quote to live forever like Thomas Jefferson's?
