The well was reported to be choked back to 3800 barrels/day. I am rounding down. The trucks couldn't keep up.

Sorry for being in the dark on the topic, but what exactly do you mean by the city has an oil well? Does that mean it's within city limits and owned by the city?

Well (pardon the pun), the city now has an oil well...just like Dickinson.  Hmm...I've heard it's pumping out quite a number of gallons of oil per day.  Hmm...I'm curious to find out exactly what this well means to the city budget.

Could this eliminate the "Dickinson has an oil well" excuse when the topic of building a new parks and rec center comes up?

Anyone have any insight on this?  I know someone who does but unfortunately I don't have immediate access to his impressive political mind anymore. smile.gif  Man, I miss those conversations. smile.gif
