You might be right, Jibslider, but also if the People in Congress and Senate would pay their own damn taxes, that might help. Or quit hiding their cash in freezer's... You think?

Freezer eh? Maybe I should try that. Freeze my own assets. Lord knows my "assets" get frozen every time I come home for Christmas!biggrin

Jib
That is a good question...personally I think that it is a direct result of the massive disrespect and disenfranchisement of those very people by, not only the very media who should be reporting it, but of the entire culture of the new White House and it's structure.  Whether the controlling party in Congress likes it or not, this country at best...or worst  depending on your spin...is pretty equally divided.  The difference appears to be that finally the conservative half is finally getting riled up.

Please do not forget that the Iraq war was pretty much unanimously approved by Congress, and so was the first bailout...so please do not lay the entire blame, such as it is, simply on the Bush Administration.  They (those decisions) were both very bipartisan.

For the most part, the regular folks are not very confrontational, but when you raise the ire of those regular people...watch out.  I think it is refreshing....

what little exposure the major media gave it, seems to be mostly negative....and they highlighted the fringe elements rather than the larger group...

Since the TEA folks are against over-taxation, why didn't they come out in droves to stand up against the first bailout and the Iraq invasion/war... now that would have been newsworthy material.

Was there too.  Had to leave early, but, impressed with the People.  And the Older Folk's were amazing.  Maybe we should pay attention to them...Their love for this Country is Overwhelming to me.  It alway's remind's me of what my parent's stood for.  Bless their Heart's.

How 'bout that thing?  I went for an hour or so....and it was refreshing...and to tell you the truth, even if it would have been a gathering from the flip side of the subject, it was nice to see that kind of turnout of people. Finally we are seeing the people of our community come out in public and be a part...

Oh yeah! Kingfish...I saw you there....did you get a lot  hidden camera footage to send to the White House?  It did look kinda fishy...  kidding, I'm kidding...

;o)
