Please tell me why Conrad would vote YES to table Amendment #604 on 3/10/09. this is clearly a votge against the extension of E-Verify for 5 years. So, folks Your Senator along with Boxer has assured that illegal immigrants will be getting jobs from this so called stimulus package !!! Unbelievable. Senate Leader Harry Reid tried to keep Sen. Sessions' E-Verify amendment from a floor vote, but pressure from other Senators forced the issue. In one more twist, Sen. Patrick Leahy motioned to table the amendment during the two-minute debate prior to Tuesday's vote, and the motion passed by a margin of 50-47. These are the Senators who represent the "United States of America" and elect NOT to have E-verify as a way to ensure only law abiding citizens get jobs...
I will call Boxer and vent on her. You should call Conrad and do the same. That is, unless you don't give a damn who comes into our country, who gets the jobs and that you will be happy to pay the tab. That is..if you can find a job !!!!
