I think you should report it to ND Sports Association. We did when we were in Championship Baseball game against Grand Forks. And it was the Parents at that Game. Sometimes it get pretty ugly.
I recently attended the Watford City/Trenton boys basketball game on Saturday Jan 31st in Watford City (one of many games I have attended this year as my husband is the assistant coach). The Tigers lost to WC by 10 in OVERTIME! both teams played well and was an exciting game, but....... Two things really put a bad taste in my mouth about that game.
1. The Watford City Fans....mostly students...were the most disrespectful bunch of kids I have ever seen! They should be ashamed of themselves! Two questions arise in my mind...Where were these kids's parents and more importantly...where was their administrator who allows this? I graduated from Williston and never in a million years would our admistration put up with such disrespectfulness! There are many people in attendance who are thinking of writing letters to the North Dakota High School Association. I have heard such things about their fans before from different people in other towns...but never have experienced the event myself.
2. The Williston Herald listed a tiny blurb about the game in Sundays Herald...something to the effect of .......Wolves win 50-60 NOTHING more.....NO mention of the overtime, hardly any stats from either teams...HARDLY ANYTHING! Of coarse I vented my frustrations on thier guestbook, but guess whos comment didnt make the guestbook????? LOL I didnt really think it would....The Herald really needs to start reporting on ALL class B schools in thier reading area.......NOT just Trinity Christian!
