Ohhhhhh yes Mr Thue.... junior high. Had him for Social Studies, Lunch room, and Study Hall!!! He scared the crap out of me!!! I do believe he called me a dork once or twice too!! Ha!!! He was a great educator!!
One thing that I remember is Canteen Night in the basement of the Old Armry. Kids that were trying out their talents and others dancing. Every Friday or Saturday Night. It was great during winter months - too bad it isn't happening now or maybe it is I just don't know. It was good fun but needs alot of Adults around.

I do remember that old round hotel and the one across from it as well as Happy Chappy's with their tow truck. I remember when DQ was in their old building and going through the drive thru on my bike.
Do you remember the old Snyder Grand theater? The one that had the balcony and the rip in the screen... and he always played old 50's music before the shows. I remember my grandmother taking me to the lunch counter at Woolworths too. Good times.
I also remember Ron Thue... what a stud.

Come on people...what else do you remember. I remember the RED OWL supermarket, and the little diner they had. The men and women working in the isles marking ever can with that big blue printer thing, pricing every can they put on the shelf. OH and Family Thrift Center...how the carts had numbers in the front so you could drive around and then you held up your nubmer and they brought out your cart and helped you load it. Why did they do away with that? The guys always got a tip!!! unless your a jerk! ahhhhhhhh the Good ol days!!

I suppose none of you remember the psychedelic bus that used to come out on band day and cruise the two lane main street.. lol We would go from the Bar-B-Que to A&W Rootbeer - North of Town. Where I worked. Wow that was forever ago.
...Main street was a two lane road and the trees in summer grew over the street to make it feel like a tunnel. Nothing like now...so somber and business like.. Oh and the GateWay market (now Pets n Stuff) they had the best frosties ever!! And I cant count the times me and my best friend June rode our bikes up to Walt's Market to buy cigarettes...note in hand. LOL Back then you could buy cigarettes like that, Any questions...the note included a phone number. LOL .... I miss sooo very much of remember when!
