RE: Fantasy Football Owners

... Sheesh seems like every dang year the Vikes get a wild card spot and then dont even show up...  I think they have a problem with quicksand, they can NEVER recover from it.  Makes me miss the days of good ole # 9... Franny Tarkenton...He was great.  Oh well, better luck next season. number1.gif

Congrats all you Vikings lovers.  Hope they get a spot in Superbowl.  And the good ol' Lions will go in history as the only team to have a 0 and 16 season.  HA.  Oh well, better luck next year.  Happy New Year all!

Since there was nothing in place. You should share the title and the cashe. Put the rule in place next season. That's what I would expect.

Tough question.

Our league Championship game finished in a tie.  We don't have any tiebreaker rules in place for something like this (fairly new league so we never considered it).  We have two options.  Option number one...since there is no rule we share the title (and the money) and add the rule for next year.  Or number two...we make the rule now that the bench score should be the tie breaker.

What would you do?

They aren't 0-16 yet.  One more game to go.  Doesn't look good though. Another bright side?  No more Matt Millen. biggrin

Thank you all so much for your great advice!  You would not believe how much this kid loves,  and prays every Sunday for just one win for his beloved Lions. Ugh...and then skunked again.  Poor kid.  But I will take your great advice and let the chips fall where they may and then take it from there.  Heck, for all I know, there are some "closet" Lions fans out there that will thank him for stand up. confuse LOL  Thanks again, and Merry Christmas!!! heart.gif

Give him credit for not being a fair weatherd fan.  Let him know it's good not to be a "band wagon" sports fan.  Teach him to ask those who mock him what their favorite team is.....this year and who it will be....next year.

I was a Saints fan most of my life as well, but the Hurricane Katrina stuff really turned me off.  Don't get me wrong, I felt horrible for the people, but the political crap that came from all of that, was too much for me.  But, considering how poor the Saints have played for many, many years I had to endure a lot of the same ridicule for liking them.  It didn't stop there.  I'm a Vikings fan as well and, well, you know the rest of that story. nobiggrin

Well, I don't own a Fantasy Football team but I do have a question.... My son has been a Lions Fan since he was about 5,  we have no idea where this love for the Lions comes from because I am a Skins fan and his Dad is a Saints fan....my question is, my parents bought him for Christmas a Lions jacket, and well with the Lions being 15 and 0  (can you believe that), do we let him ware the Jacket out in public and to school, or will he get snot beat out of him for waring such a losing teams jacket?  And my Dad is such a Vikings fan that it about put him in his grave to purchase that jacket.  My Dad has tried and tried to convert him to a Vikes fan, but no go.  What would you do?  Any advice will be soooo helpful.

Playoff time?  Might be able to get some ideas on the games coming up this weekend.

No "know-it-all" "Monday morning armchair qb's" allowed here either. winkbiggrinbiggrin

First question...
I have Addai, Slaton, and Turner.  Need to start two.  Addai will be playing this week.  Phat Pat Williams is out.  Do I keep Turner in against the stout Vikings D?  Or should I insert Addai against a questionable Jags run defense?  Also...Panthers or Cowboys and Matt Ryan or Jeff Garcia (if he plays)?
