Walmart controls most of the retail? honestly? They may get the lions share, but what else do you expect from a huge corporation that can afford to do what they do?
What would be nice is if these larger corps would invest in the housing as well as the store front.
But whats the likelihood that anything like that will happen?
That was my exact question. Where would we get staff? We can't get enough people to work at the stores that we currantly have! More and More places are closing early "due to lack of staff". I would be all for getting new stores in town, I just don't think we could get the people to work at them.
Would Williston really be able to support a new mall? There may be plenty of people with money to spend. But where would the store staff come from and where would they live?
